Cropping reframes a picture: tightening a composition, fitting a strict avatar circle, or producing consistent social media ratios. This cropper gives you a draggable selection box with optional ratio locks — 1:1 for avatars, 4:3 for classic prints, 16:9 for video thumbnails and heroes.
Draw the region directly on the image, nudge it into place, and see the exact pixel dimensions of your selection before exporting. The crop is applied with pixel precision and saved in the format you choose.
Like everything on PixKit, the image is handled by your own browser via the Canvas API. Confidential screenshots and personal photos are cropped locally and never uploaded.
How to use
- Drop in an image (cropping works on one image at a time for precision).
- Optionally lock a ratio preset, then drag on the image to draw the crop region.
- Adjust the box until the framing is right — dimensions update live.
- Press Crop and download the result.
