Sideways phone photos, mirrored scans, upside-down scans of documents — orientation problems are annoyingly common. This tool fixes them in bulk: rotate any number of images by 90°, 180° or 270°, or flip them horizontally and vertically, then export everything at once.

A frequent frustration with rotation tools is EXIF orientation: many phone photos store a "rotate me" flag instead of real rotated pixels, and some editors apply it twice or ignore it. What is the difference between rotating and flipping?
Rotating turns the image around its center by an angle (90° steps here), changing width and height for quarter turns. Flipping mirrors the image across a horizontal or vertical axis — left becomes right, or top becomes bottom — without changing dimensions.
Why does my rotated photo look wrong in another app?
That app is probably applying the EXIF orientation flag on top of already-rotated pixels. PixKit writes pixels without the flag, which is the unambiguous representation most modern software expects.
Can I rotate by an arbitrary angle like 30°?
This tool focuses on the common 90° fixes and flips, which cover the vast majority of real-world needs and never introduce empty corners. Arbitrary-angle rotation would require cropping away part of the image.
Does flipping affect quality?
Flipping itself is lossless pixel rearrangement, but the file must be re-encoded to be saved. Use PNG or WebP at high quality to keep the change visually invisible.
