If you share photography, artwork or product shots online, a watermark is a lightweight way to keep your name attached as files travel. This tool stamps text or your logo onto any number of images in one pass — no editing each file by hand.

Place the watermark in any corner or center with a nine-position grid, or tile it repeatedly across the whole image for protection that survives cropping. Fine-tune opacity, size and rotation until it reads clearly without ruining the picture.

Your photos are composited locally with the Canvas API and saved straight back to your device. Uploading client galleries to a random watermarking site is exactly the privacy risk this approach avoids.

How to use

  1. Add the photos you want to protect.
  2. Choose text or image mode; for image mode, drop in your logo file.
  3. Pick a position (or tile), then adjust size, opacity and rotation.
  4. Check the live preview, press Apply, and download the watermarked batch.

Where should I place a watermark?
Corners are traditional but trivially cropped away. Center placements and tiled patterns survive cropping much better. Many photographers combine both: a subtle corner signature plus a faint diagonal tile.
What opacity works best?
Around 30–50% for a visible-but-tasteful mark on photos. Below ~20% it disappears on bright areas; above ~70% it dominates the image. Tiled anti-theft patterns can go lower since repetition compensates.
Can a watermark be removed?
Determinedly, yes — watermarks deter casual reuse but are not encryption. Keep your originals, publish reasonably sized copies, and treat the watermark as one layer among several protections.
What logo format should I use?
A transparent PNG works best. White or dark logos with transparency composite cleanly on any photo; opaque rectangular logos will show their background box.
